Does anyone know of a site or something that gives the basics of taking simple b/w portraits? Something I can set up at home with work lights and poster board. What causes my computer to make grinding noises right when it is opening up all the programs at the end of the start process? It sounds like the noise a car makes when you keep turning the key and it does not start. After a few minutes, it opens up and works just fine, but rather slowly. I can only use a secondary connection with WinMX. I can connect with a primary but NOTHING can be done. No search or download so I use a secondary where everything works fine. i use outpost (of course) and WinMX was entered as a trusted app. I use router and WinMX has the correct two ports open for TCP and UDP. Just got a used sekonic 308BII from ebay for 128USD. It has scratch all over the place, and it does not come with any accessories. I can live without soft case, strap, sync cord cap.
